Cancer should be a curse word... There I said it... C*@&^#. Let's just get it out on the table. It can be a really big hardship that a lot of people face, but no one should ever face it alone. It can also be a time in someone's life where they realize their life is so much better than they gave it credit! That is why I started this blog to help others going through the #*&$(*^ . My story starts in 2012 when I am walking my 1 year old daughter in her stroller through our neighborhood. I have an annoying pain in my lower back that just won't go away. I keep telling myself that it is just from giving birth and my body is still getting back to 'normal', whatever normal is after childbirth.... But that little voice inside my head tells me, just call your doctor and get it checked out. Fast forward through an ultrasound, surgery and another surgery, I was diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer.
This page is dedicated to not only my journey that I can hopefully provide some support of those undergoing chemotherapy, surgery, working and raising kids. Additionally, that through all the pain, hair loss, and changes, we can still be the same mommy that our kids know, maybe even a better version....
